Well as the title says; PCPer reported the news recently that Nvidia changed their minds and will not support 3 and 4 way SLI for gaming. They will enable it for certain benchmarks though. In all honesty though this is not really an issue as the performance gains above 2 cards is minimal. Check the video for the details.

Minimum specs for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive are basically an intel i5 4590/AMD fx-8350 and Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD r9 290
