AMD's new CPU architecture Ryzen has had some launch bugs but that has not stopped it from being a great CPU. Good news is that BIOS updates have been improving performance and AMD continues to release more bug fixes for motherboard makers to implement in their BIOS updates! Mark at Overclock3D reports that Microsoft is clamping down and blocking updates for Windows 7 and 8.1 systems running a AMD Ryzen, AMD Bristol Ridge and Intel Kaby Lake CPUs. It has been known that these CPU were not officially supported by the older operating systems; it just shows that some users need to be careful with their new computer purchases.
Tom over at OC3D has done an excellent job with this air cooler mega test, be sure to go check it out. Just proves yet again that air coolers are great cooling solutions in some situations.
Overclock3D (OC3D) reported that Overwatch will be getting official 21:9 aspect ratio support around late July. This is good news as this format has been getting more popular recently.
